Comments:

I got married to my beautiful wife in 1979. Together, we were attending Kearney State College (now UNK), in married student housing and graduated in 1981; US Army Active duty (ROTC) as 2LT. I was assigned to the 101 Airborne for 4 years. I got off Active Duty in 1985 as CPT. Went to work at Martin Marietta Denver Aerospace 1986 - 1993, Joined Federal Police in 1993- now Department of Homeland Security. I was involved with Terry McVeigh trial in Denver for over 2 years. I was at Ground Zero NYC within 30 days of 911. I supported Hurricane Katrina/Rita relief efforts in Louisiana. I retired from US Army in 2008 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Recently promoted to Police Inspector with Dept of Homeland Security.

School Story:

1975 Class Prophesy had me pegged. It said I would be carrying a flashlight. (HA HA)
I recall such things as: Snipe Hunts, Submarine Races at the lake, playing "Freeze Out" in the winter on back roads, "Dragging Main" (how can ANYONE drive 150 miles in a few days and not go anywhere?).
My favorite teachers included "Catfish" Augustine, Mr Hamilton (Biology) WWhat was the name of that poor young magician/science teacher (he only lasted a year in 75). Could it have been the fire in the Physics room that drove him off???
