Graduated in 1972 from NU College of Pharmacy and moved to Rochester, MN to work at Saint Marys Hospital. Moved to St. Paul, MN and worked at United Hospital while attending William Mitchell College of Law. 1980 was a busy year: graduated law school, passed the bar exam, married Jim and bought our first house. Worked at the Minnesota Medical Association as general counsel and lobbyist until 1986 then joined the Legal Department of the Mayo Clinic back in Rochester. My work is a general health law practice with a focus on drug and device regulation, research and clinical ethics and health professional practice questions (not just pharmacy). Jim and I enjoy traveling and relaxing at our cabin on Lake Vermilion near Jim's hometown of Tower, MN and home of Minnesota's newest state park [http://www.lakevermilionstateparks.com/]. I volunteer with several community organizations focusing on youth and educational opportunities; have tried to stay politically involved (although the current polarization disappoints me greatly) and am a lay minister at St. John's Catholic Church. Under the "small world" category - my current boss is Sherry Hubert who married Christina Hubert's youngest brother Bob. |
