Don’t be left out -- Keepsake Souvenir Booklet entitled “125 Years of McCook Public Schools” to be given with every registration. We are looking for stories about McCook Public Schools and memories, Teachers, happenings, etc. to include in the book. AND we are looking for Alumni who would advertise in this publication. We are excited about having alumni from around the country and world advertise what they do or sell.
You Oughta Be in Pictures
Many alumni worked at the Fox Theater, Temple Theater, or the Bison Drive-In Theater. Do you have any stories you'd like to share, or you would like to reminisce with co-workers you haven't seen in years? If so, contact John Hubert 308-345-4534 or jehubert@swnebr.net If enough replies are generated, a special get-together at the reunion will be planned.
Help us Tell the McCook Bison Story! We are putting together a video skit to be shown during the Bison 2010 reunion at McCook's Historic Fox Theatre. If you would like to help, give Gene Morris a call at 308-340-5972 or geneomorris@yahoo.com Our plan is to collect ideas by e-mail, then put together a 48 minute video about McCook and the Bison during the past 125 years. Tell us cute, quick, interesting stories. We want to honor our town and our school.
Living History We would like to record MHS alumni experiences or memories, with the end result a CD full of old stories for personal listening. Stories could include fun or special things that happened to you or with another student or teacher or anything that happened while we grew up in McCook. The McCook Public Library has all the equipment needed and if you want to do it before the reunion, even better. Those who are interested can e-mail Steve Batty at: sbatty@mccooknet.com or call 308-345-4021; snail mails him at Box 464, McCook, NE69001.
Saturday Night Street Dance on Norris Ave. (Alternate and rainout locations to be announced.)
Church in the Park on Sunday Morning. Alumni if you would be interested in helping organize this please contact: Cheri Beckenhauer, 308-345-2032 or cheri@carpenterbreland.com
